And back in late 2007 Al Lutz said on Miceage it had been greenlit for an opening later in '08.

It's very old news.

Don't take it personally. Sorry if I came off snotty, that wasn't my intent. :)

My point was simply that anything interesting that finally shows up in the official AP newsletter would have already been leaked on the Internet months earlier. Sometimes it's even "news" that had been widely reported on fan websites an entire year earlier.

On this one, Miceage was the first to break this news back in '07, and Tony Baxter went public with it in front of fan websites a few months ago. The official Disneyland AP newsletter is nothing but official propaganda that covers info that is months old and not really "news" anymore.

I apologize as well.

The newsletter usually serves as an "official" announcement of something that is known by the Disney internet fan base for months prior.

The same thing goes for the big Sept. 18 NYC announcement. There's probably not going to be anything new announced that we haven't known about for months.

BTW, on my earlier comment, time sure flies. It feels like only a couple of weeks ago that Tony made his announcement.

I'll be there in Feb 2009. What did they do to it? Did they seal it so that birds cannot get into the dioramas anymore? :ROFLOL:I can't wait to see it. I was very sad :( that I could not go in on my last trip. I didn't even know it was being refurb'd. It is one of my staple's. It will be great to get back in:sohappy: Thanks for sharin!:sohappy:
