Sleeper Sofas at DVC Resorts

Hey all,

We're planning a WDW trip in June of 2009 and we want to stay at one of the DVC resorts studio accomadations. It looks like dad may be sleeping on the sofa bed (no our marriage isn't in trouble ). I was just wondering how comfortable the sofa beds are. Everytime I think of a sofa bed I have nightmares of my mom's old sofa bed with a big steel bar going through the middle of it. Are the ones at Disney any better?

The sleeper sofas are actually not bad. They are engineered completely differently than regular sleeper sofas. I've definitely slept in regular hotel beds that were less comfortable.

I slept on a sleeper sofa at Saratoga Springs and it wasn't the most comfortable bed but it wasn't uncomfortable. However, my dad just bought DVC for AK and the woman showed him the model room and the sofabeds are memory foam sealy mattresses so i am sure all the rooms will soon be getting that

We stayed in a one bedroom villa at Beach Club last year with some friends. They slept on the sleeper sofa and were AMAZED at how comfortable it was. I think you have no worries here :)

Memory Foam!! That's what we have in our home and we absolutely love it! Looks like dad might get the regular bed while my wife and daughter get the sofa bed. :snore:

Thanks all for the help.
