I'm not surprised.

Yet another airline to die and leave SWF. They need to start going after airlines who are actually going to stay there for awhile.

Awwww.... Three of my friends were supposed to be flying Skybus to Florida in June. They're gonna be so sad...

Hope they can each get their $20 back... :lookaroun

yea and delta has offered buyouts to about 30,000 of their employees. they are all trying to cut costs as much as possible so they can compensate for the fuel prices....hence why ticket prices are increasing....i find it hard to believe that oil companies are not making a profit....BS!

Wow...

My last job was Human Resource Manager for an Airport Retailer.I went to 3 months of Training in Port Columbus Intl Airport.Skybus started there and I dealt with them on a daily basis.Met bunch of pilots and flight attendants.

They said the planes were ALWAYS in the air. They only had a few planes and even though airfare was cheap -you paid for everything such as drinks and snacks. The flight attendants got paid mostly by commision on what they sold-so most had other jobs too.

They had great deals from Ohio to Vegas and they flew in smaller airports to get cheaper flights.
