Sky Way vehicles

OMG when we were at the MK on Friday we were riding TTA and as we passed I don't know some storage place the door was open and inside were the old skyway vehicles all lined up waiting to be used. I was so amazed. The last time I was on them I was 5 and remembered that I really liked them. Does anyone know what Disney is doing with them? The rides been down for like 5 or 6 years (correct me if I'm wrong) and they still have the ride vehicles sitting there? Just thought I'd share my little experiece with all of you and see if you knew what they are going to do with them!

Maybe they could be preserving them to put on Ebay:lookaroun but honestly that's cool.. i was there Friday myself so we may have seen each other and didn't know..:lol:

wow the door to the tomorrowland station was left open and you seen the old vehicles, they probably dont have anywhere else to go and the station is only used as some weard stage sometimes, it is there till they must move them some day in the future.

i think it was in august i went down and they were auctioning a few of them off in epcot, also one of the ride vehicles from 20,000 leagues under the sea

I would buy one and have it on display in my home somewhere, then buy another and makie it a simulator then buy a third and make it a lounge area. I can see it now, top that with People mover vehicles around my home and future pool, LOL

ohhhh can I buy a 20,000 leagues under the sea Nautlis? I am sick of putting action figures in the bath tub and using a snorkle to pretend I am on the ride........the wife thinks I am weird....

Anyway I love to see things that you were not supposed to see on a trip to Disney......thats why I always have my good ole camera......

it ruined it for me when i looked underneath the sub and there were wheels. my childhood dreams were crushed
