I'm heading down at the end of June. I'm not very savvy on what exactly soft openings actually entail. Will it be open around this time, will they close it to fix any problems they may find during the soft opening, or a possibility of both?

Rumor is they will have the press event and grand on the 22 - 23rd so you should be in good shape. It seems to be on track as they have 7 weeks to iron out any glitches.

It may be just to keep the weight evenly distributed throughout the vehicle. Without a full load they wouldn't want all the weight in the front or the back.

It could be or it may just be where the people ended up. They want to group and talk to each other or share the experience, not spaced out. I think people are looking into them being spread out a bit much.
Let's think about it this way, the ride vehicles are typically used for carrying up to tons of cargo around a shipyard in the elements. I don't think they have to evenly distribute just yet.

I don't want to shoot down your ideas but my thinking on that is these vehicles are used to move fully loaded, unbalanced shipping containers around so a ton or so on one end or the other shouldn't make a whip of difference to it. I lean to the congregate so we can talk but they always do that in the middle not at either end. I think it says something about the experience. I will be trying as many positions as I can to see. EFG is position dependent on what the experience is.

Is that what they're built from?
That's kind of awesome. Betcha that saved a bit in development costs.
