Skip Epcot?

Definitely would not skip. Some of the best rides are at Epcot, not to mention they have the passports for kiddos. This might just be me but Epcot definitely would have been my favorite as a kid, I was that kid who ate up cultural festivals and exhibits like crazy. But even if that's not your kid there are lots of cool things for them to experience.

I could never skip a park on a Disney trip, but if I only had 4 days and little kids, I would rather skip Epcot and do 2 MK days. Epcot is our family's least favorite and MK is my favorite (we're split on favoring MK and AK). We just got back and did 5 park days with 2 at MK and it was fantastic! We got to ride just about everything and some things a few times. I am currently in the stages of PDD... post Disney depression.

I would feel like I'm missing out if I didn't go to Epcot. I would much rather do different parks in two days vs. going to one park for two days. If you're going to skip anything, skip HS. I don't think TSL can save that park right now.

However, you do have two little kids and there are a lot of kid rides in MK. So - I guess you have to decide if you want to be a little selfish or not lol (which I don't think it actually is, it's just your decision!).
This was me. I love Epcot so I wouldn’t let us miss it, but in retrospect, we only had 4 park days and kids didn’t care, I should have skipped it. However my parents went with us and they kept kids one night and my husband and I went back to Epcot. Next trip (hopefully December 2019) we will do 5 park days! 2 MK days is so worth it with little ones. We didn’t do everything even with 2 days there.

We always do every park, but right now, if I were to skip a park, it would be EPCOT.. Sure there are a lot of fun things for the kids to do, but you have to include coloring a cutout of a bear that no one who hasn't visited the parks knows who he is, than maybe you are looking a bit hard for things to do.. and there is no shortage of things to do at MK.. For kids that age I can't disagree with skipping EPCOT for an extra day at MK.

Hello! My family will be going on a 7 day WDW vacation this February! During our stay, I’m planning on 4 park days and 1 pool/ resort day. We try to go to Disney at least every year or every other year. We have never skipped a park before, however because my kids will be 3 and 5 I’m wondering if I should skip Epcot and to 2 days at MK. Has anyone ever skipped a park all together and felt like they missed out? Or skipped one park and felt that is was for the best? Thanks!
Noooooooooooooo, it’s still very good, plus it’s more chilled , they may like the fact that they can go to space, ride a car, see the sights of Florida, visit Norway and anya , and see the best firework show they have, visit Mexico,London , etc, great fun, enjoy,

We've skipped the Hollywood Studios on several trips, but never Epcot. I would suggest doing two days at the Magic Kingdom, one at Animal Kingdom, and one at Epcot. If you don't want to skip the Studios, I'd see if you can combine the Studios and Epcot (assuming you're using a park hopper). There's still some great things at Epcot, even for young kids. The downside is all the walking. Two days out of four at the Magic Kingdom is a no brainer, so it's really about what attractions are most important.

We would never skip EPCOT. My kids always loved it. One child loved roller coasters from age six on. I mean the big ones like the ones at kings Island or Cedar Point in OHIO. MY youngest didn't enjoy these rides until she was a teenager. Point being at ages 4 and 6 they both loved EPCOT. Several have mentioned park hoppers and to me this is the way to go. We never stay in one park for the whole day. My kids have also always loved Illuminations.

My kids loved Epcot! I would skip HS instead of Epcot. I really do not understand how people say that there is nothing to do or that it is boring. At least go there for half a day and then go to MK after or instead of spending a whole day just at the resort, go to Epcot for the evening or morning. I don't think that you should skip it entirely, especially if you have never been. One of my kid's favorite rides when they were younger was living with the land. I think you are selling your kids short by assuming they would not enjoy what Epcot has.

Skip Epcot? Blasphemy! I wouldn't even consider HS, and AK is getting better and better, but that would be the next to drop. MK and EC? If I had two days only, they'd be spent there.

Other option? PARK HOPPERS, FTW.

Nope, I wouldn’t skip it. My kids will learn to appreciate other cultures as soon as they’re able. I think WS is a great way to introduce them.
