Single rider lines still an option?

Wife and I are arriving end of the month and have FP’s in order. However, she is subject to motion sickness, can’t do Soaring, most roller coasters, etc. I love Everest and have yet to do Pandora. On previous visits (OK, it’s been 3 yrs), most rides had single rider option available but I have not seen any reference to them in recent posts? Are they still in existence?

What park are you thinking about. I only know of three single rider lines at WDW. That being Test Track, RnRC and I think Everest. WDW never has had many single rider lines that I recall, at least for the last 18 years when I started going solo. Before that I might not have noticed because I didn't need it.

In past visits Everest, Splash Mt, Space Mt, ToT, maybe Thunder Mt, don’t recall Soaring or Test Track. Wondering if it depends on Park volume?

I was there twice this year and didn’t see a single rider lines for ToT or Splash. I don’t think those are options anymore.

@marni1971, is this all true. I never heard of there being any single rider lines other then Test Track and RnRC for a very long time. I don't know for sure, but, I'm sure you do. If they did have others were they just on special occasions or were they all the time. I do not remember very many. I think Mission: Space had one until they went to the Orange and Green, but, I don't remember any others.

Flight of Passage has never had a single rider line they've actually used. They had a sign up prior to opening (saw it on the first day of Annual Passholder Previews) but it was removed. Instead, once you get past the FP+ split, they may ask for single riders and put them in their own queue to use as needed. But there is no real time saving advantage like you might find at attractions with a dedicated single rider line.

Only three rides have single rider, as stated above, TT, RnRC and Everest.

In a few rides, Space Mountain, Big Thunder and ToT, I always here a call for a single rider, with a call once in a while for two riders.

As for FoP, never seen a line or heard of a line for singles. But, at least the last two times riding, our station was not full, the last time riding there were three seats empty.

Don't have a photo from two weeks ago, but FoP had a Stand-by line (read 55 minutes), a single-rider line (read 55 minutes) and the FP+ Return line.

Would’ve worked well for FOP, but people abuse the single rider line...seen families use it more than once when getting on TT single rider line.

As long as the families ride split up, I don't have a problem with it. I just hate to see empty seats on popular rides. What gets me is the "oh, little Timmy is too young to ride by himself, I have to ride with him" carp.

If little Timmy is too young to ride by himself, why did you drag him down the SINGLE RIDER line, lady???

My family and I regularly use single rider when available. At Universal as well. We're all adults now and we've been on these rides enough, no need to have to sit directly next to each other. I also use this when I am traveling solo (which is often) as well. No problems with either.

Not sure if it is still there but...

The Single rider line for Everest is a little bit off to the side, and isn't always open, especially when crowds are low, like early in the morning. A CM can direct you to the location, and tell you if it is open.

While many rides don't specifically have a separate single rider queue, CM's often aim to fill every available seat on many attractions.

As you get near the front of the queue, it is wise to pay attention to the CM's. Small parties often get called (ahead) to the front of the line. It is very common on Space Mtn and Soarin.
