Single Digit Anxiety!

I'm now 9 days away from flying out to WDW and the dry heaves have started! I've spent 2 years waiting for this trip and now it's practically here I have a constant feeling of panic!!!!

It's not about forgetting to pack something or if I've bought all the tickets, it's more an anticipation of my perfect holiday I think? I've had a major headache for 4 days and have also trapped a nerve in my neck which my doctor says is due to tension!!!

Does anyone else get in such a state? I keep telling myself I should be feeling happy and carefree but actually I would be happier if I had longer to wait then 9 days!!!! I've been so used to waiting to go that it seems overwhelming to ACTUALLY be going!

Mad or what!

VERY true, but each time, we all have a great time!!! Nothing beats hearing "Welcome to Orlando", and knowing you are about to embark on a fabulous trip!! Like I said to Di, we ALL go thru this and in some funny way, look forward to this feeling. When you wake up, that first morning at Disney, it's like Christmas morning when we were all kids. I wish they could put that feeling in a bottle. The here and now, happy to be here, and dang it this is all about a good time, feeling :)

Ah Deb, you brought tears to my eyes with that one, gosh darn it! All so true...wish that feeling could be felt on a normal day back home when you need it! That's why we all plan another trip to WDW so we can begin those amazing feelings once again that come with the anticipation of our next trip to WDW!

I get the same way...anxious!
There is so much time & money put into WDW trips that it's hard not to be that way.
We leave tomorrow & I am trying to put myself in the mindset that I am not going to run, run, run on this trip...I'm going to go with the flow & enjoy myself & not rush to get from one place to another.
That is hard for me to do because I always want to go everywhere & do everything!

I was off work Tuesday and was at home just going freakin crazy. I couldn't stand myself because I'm so ready for this vacation.
Once your plane gets off the ground, you'll be much better.

yep.. I can't stand myself right now..I feel bad for the people around me honestly. Until we are checked in to BWI I will be a mess with worrying what could go wrong..

Yup, I've been trying to convince myself to walk, don't run this year and try to relax and enjoy more too! I guess we need to know that we'll be back again so there is no need to see everything in a day. It just isn't worth it in the end because the stress of the "rush" can really add up after a week. Have a safe and magical vacation! We'll be thinking about all of you enjoying WDW before it becomes our turn! ;)

Tink, do what I do... The night before every trip, I make sure suitcases are by the front door, pups are in the kennel, all garbage is taken out, fridge is cleaned out, alarm system is good to go, then I high tail it out with DH for appetizers and cocktails .... and know, the next week or more, is all about good times, good memories and and one heck of alot of pics :) (Oh... and suntan, cant forget that!!) Have a fabulous trip filled with lots of pixie dust and memories!

We all do that in many ways than one LOL. I plan every *magical* trip, with a DH who feels we can go to Europe for the money we spend at Disney, but.... every year he has a blast. Knowing this, I still worry, but a week before vacation, I make a vow... God help anyone who ruins this.. and no one or no circumstance does. Alison, we're Moms, we were born to worry LOL but in the end, we are the ones the family thanks for all of our planning... So, yes, we love the planning, love the anticipation and love the accolades, but holy smokes, does it make us worry

ANXIETY UPDATE!

This time next week I should be boarding the plane!!!! After being verbally abused at work yesterday (to the point that police were nearly called!) by the father of a young boy I told off for prodding our ducks with 2 sticks! Then this morning I get to work to find our Charity tea shop had been broken into, all 3 doors busted (all need replacing) cupboards broken, stock taken, float in 2 tills taken, tv screen taken! the damage will cost us about £1,000.

Roll on next Monday! Anxiety! What bl##dy anxiety!!!!! It's gone!!!!
