People were looking at me...
I started laughing right when Cedric was killed.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! I just find Pettigrew funny.
I wasn't actually laughing at the death, it was Wormtail!
Now when Fleur was eaten by the bush, yes, I was just laughing at her pain...:lookaroun

 It's a good thing I wasn't with you! I'd have to kill you! I know I'll get choked up when Cedric dies.
Now the Fleur part I understand.

That was another thing I noticed, they dovoted so much time to Harry and so little to anyone else, so there was really no time to bond witgh the characters.

I was dissapointed by the characterization of Dumbledore. (I won't say anymore about that, I don't want to give the whole movie away)

I've heard this from other people, too. That will be disappointing because Dumbledore is one of my favorite characters, mainly because of his calm, rational demeanor.

Dumbledore was always my favorite character.
You can imagine what book 6 did to me...

Well that's too bad! I mean I love Harry, but the books are just full of interesting characters. Ron is my favorite of all the characters, but the lesser characters are so well developed in the books, that I hate to see them glossed over in the movies.

Wow! We can only hope! I don't know about Dumbledore, but Snape is not what he seems to be. It would have been against Dumbledore's character to have such explicit trust in someone and then be proven so wrong. If Dumbledore trusted him, he had to be worthy of it.

I differ slightly in this. I think Dumbledore's greatest failing is his trust in others. We have never know him in any of the book to have any issues; he never looses his temper and handels thing well. He fails in his beliefe that others are like him, in that they are good at heart, and will return to that good. I think it's fitting that he should fall due to this.

Oh, I want to add that they really should have done more with Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. They really were left out far too much.

And they shoulf have given the Beaudxbaton girls more screen time.:lookaroun

Interesting take. I think he was a great judge of character. It's hard for me to think that he could have misjudged someone so completely. He never faltered in his belief in Snape. If he had, he would have tried to warn someone of the possibilties, maybe Harry. Instead, just the opposite, throughout book 6 he reiterated his faith in him. There has to be some reasoning behind this.
