She's got more colour in her face, but still gets very drained by doing anything. I'm guessing it'll be a few weeks until she's fully better. :)

Pneumonia resolves quickly with antibiotics, but it takes about 6 weeks to get back to full strength. Huggles

Good Monday Morning to everyone!!!:) :wave:

Been busy the last couple of days with work and others things.

I have to work Thanksgiving Day (Day Shift), but I will have the evening off atleast. I am making Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday instead. It will work out OK.

Hi Nemo! We have our 2 dds and their boyfriends. We eat at about 2 Pm so they can have a second dinner with the boyfriends families. :lol:
How about you, lots of guests?

We go to my BIL's house (about a mile away). We all bring stuff (I usually do the rolls and a few desserts) and always have tons of food.
I started a tradition with just the 4 of us back when the kids were younger. Usually the weeknd before Thanksgiving, we have our own "little" Thanksgiving dinner at home, so we get to experience all the smells and yummy leftovers here too. It also gives us some private time to talk about all the things we're thankful for. Since my DD went off to college though she really can't get home til the day before Thanksgiving, so we have had to change our family celebration to Thanksgiving Eve instead. Yay - turkey dinner 2 days in a row!

Sounds great! The more Thanksgivings the merrier!
We have a tradition too. We redo Thanksgiving on the Sunday after, with all the leftovers. That way we are all together again, with the same great food (I make tons!) and no one has to go anywhere else. After dinner, we play games, like Cranium, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Apples to Apples. It is absolutely the best day!

We always play Trivial Pursuit - guys against the girls, and Pinochle.
We're pretty excited this year because my MIL is doing well enough that we'll be able to bring her out of the nursing home for Thanksgiving. A month ago, it didn't really look like it would be possible for her, since she was so weak.
