I don't want everyone to get carried away, the ice cream offerings are the same, nothing has changed in that department. The parlor does not carry Edy's brand, it is it's own ice cream, as it was with Nestle, it is just sponsored by that brand name.

I like that better. Carrying the unique type of meal while having someone else pay for it.

If you are from the West and don't recognize Edy's, substitute Dreyer's for Edy's so you know what ice cream we are talking about. Yummmmm.

I was just going to ask what Edy's was but thanks for the clarification. Edy's, Dreyer's, it's all the same yummlicious thing. Mmmmmmm.

More Variety

PD you burst my bubble...and I was thinking that there would be a nice expansion of variety offerings. As Tigsmom said, Edy's has wide variety of flavors and regular seasonal or special offerings...

I guess if they are owned by Nestle, it would make more sense from a branding standpoint to have the Edy's name as there is no (at least I don't think so) Nestle Ice Cream.

A well, the current offerings are fine...

Remember, the company has no influence on the ice cream. Only the money to run it. LOL. You could get (name a really bad ice cream here) and the ice cream would still be the same on Main Street. It's only about funding.
