You couldn't find any near you guys? :( (you saw the link, right?)

The weather is Sooooooo freaking NICE today! 60 ish, windows open, no wind. I'm always so much more useful when the weather is good. I've done laundry, painted the patches on the kitchen ceiling, puttered around in the yard, organized some papers... It's great!

Ooo! I'm jealous--on many accounts. There is so much that needs to be done around our house and even more than I'd just LIKE to get done, but alas, we need to actually be home to get them accomplished. Also, I think you might be experiencing better weather up there than we are here! It should start to clear up by tomorrow and I hear 70s for Saturday, which will be very nice though!

And yeah, I saw the link. Doesn't seem like anyone ANYWHERE in Tennessee has found a Shamrock Shake. :brick: And of course no green beer for me. Maybe green... milk...? :lookaroun

The house is a mess lately. I've just had a major case of the winter blahs, and have had NO motivation to get things done. Now I'm paying for it! :dazzle:

Playing catch-up in that situation is not fun.
There was one point this winter that I was seriously considering calling Merry Maids or something similar. We hosted a huge Christmas party at our house for DH's work and I just didn't think we could get it all put together in time. Thank goodness for DH though. He really pulled through and did a lot of cleaning. We're very thankful for his more flexible work schedule.

That sounds wonderful! I've hardly seen Marc lately. I had to keep the girl up late last night so she could read one last book with Daddy when he got home at 8:30. :( It's been like that all week.

And of course, because he's so tired, he's leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Can't be bothered to put clothes in hampers, or dishes in the dishwasher. :brick:

That's got to be tough, Bun. I'm sorry. Will his work be like this indefinitely?

Well, on the bright side, at least he has a job... And one that allows you to be a SAHM, which I would imagine is priceless.

Indeed. And I'm loving it. Although when she goes to school full time in K, I will probably be getting another job. Our savings has gone down the toilet, but it's all been worth it in the long run I suppose.

Speaking of which.. I think I hear her now. Off I go

go make your shake tonight!

Hey...quick hullo...been on and off the computer past two days...is Nicole okay?
I'm okay, I guess. It's a struggle for me to get up each morning. Everything I've been through since the fall...I've been through hell and back. The emotional crap I've had to deal with this school year has made me sensitive to every problem that comes into my life now. So when something blows up, I see it as 10 times worse than what it really is.

I'm trying to transfer back home. My dad and I went into a meeting today with Cal State Fullerton expecting the worst. We both came out with news that was worse than we were expecting. I thought I'd be in a junior college for a semester. Turns out I can't get into a state school till Fall 2011. And even then, I need a 3.6 GPA from the school I'm transferring from. Well, my CSU GPA is a 2.7 thanks to all the science classes I had to endure. I'm not sure if God is telling me I shouldn't go here, or that I need to overcome this obstacle.

I also was planning on moving into my own apartment once I came back, but just found out we don't have the money for that. Now I have to get a job. Still waiting for Disney to give me an answer. I've grown out of my house here and nothing job wise really appeals to me.

Every time I've made a decision these past few months, I've had to climb a mountain to get to what I want. I just want something, for once, to go smoothly. I don't want everything handed to me. I know my problems are tiny compared to all the suffering in the world. I just want one piece of good news. Something. These issues plus some personal stuff are eating at me...I'm just. Done. I can't take any more...I'll break, if I haven't already.

Nicole, I wish I could give you a big hug right now. During tough stretches everything seems magnified, even things that normally wouldn't bother you. You need to make your decisions based on what will make you happy NOW, without worrying about the "what ifs". If you know in your heart you don't want to be in CO, then leave. The job/school/housing stuff will come together. It will, sweetie. Hang in there. Love you.

Love you sweetie!

Nicole,
I can only echo what Kristin and Betty have said so perfectly...
things will work out. You've already decided that home is where you want to be. That in itself was a very big move forward. The logistics of it will be worked out. The right path is out there and you'll find it, with the help, love and support of your family and friends.
I love you.
