Yes, well....we're just 'guests/visitors' you know...we need to be respectful after all....stay out of their way....do their laminating.....buy books for their school...oh, and pay our property taxes so they can keep their job....no biggie....
*sarcasm over* :p
*jumbo *
(I wish there was a way to make those smileys larger...)

:lol: So you have experience already!

I mean, if there was any basis to their complaint....but we bend over backwards to be as accommodating as we can. So, really, it's just silly.

Um... I've been working a lot, as has DH, since we're still without a pastor.

There's some other stuff that's new too... :lookaroun I guess I have to spill the beans sooner or later, and since you asked... We're in the process of adopting. :D

Oh Kat...YAYNESS!!
That is definitely wonderful news!
Congratulations and best of luck with everything.
I hope the process goes as painlessly and as quickly as it can.

Love your avatar, Fishy! :D I am so feeling spring fever here. We have no snow at all on the ground, thanks to the rain storm last week. And this weekend is going to be sunny and upper 40's! :sohappy:

Thanks! dave brought home purple tulips for me tonight, so I had to change my avatar.

kristin - I have tons of questions for you, but I guess my first one is about wedding receptions in your area. Any suggestions?

Seeing and hearing people say that last part means so much to me. :o
International, about 2.5 months into it (though, it could take quite some time), agency. I don't want to get into too much on this public forum, so I'll stay kinda vague on here if that's okay. But I have a private blog you guys are more than happy to read. Just PM me your e-mail address and I'll send an invite once I get on there again.

I can't believe I just posted the news... :lookaroun. We're slowly telling people, but to be honest, not many know. Maybe about 30 people.
:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

Love you!

You know how happy I am for you!

Sure, fire away! There are lots of good places for receptions. Andover Country Club, Haverhill Country Club (ours was there), The Granite Rose, The Castleton... Let me think of some more.

And I missed when you posted about DD's engagement, so belated congratulations!!! Is she going to be moving?

Yes, she's in the process of moving to Lawerence. She said she wasn't moving in til there was a ring on her finger. I would have preferred it to be a wedding ring, but I guess it makes sense for them to save money now.

Anyway, she's thinking aout a Disney wedding, then a party back home, but actually I'm trying to talk her out of that one....
