I've never had nutella cake, BUT, you had the best combo. Nutella and waffles is the way to go.

We literally go through like three tubs of nutella in a week in this house. Some of my roommates eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon. Which... is delicious, but it gets expensive

Thank god for Costco.
I much prefer Nutella and pancakes. :)

In the past week and a half, I've gone through two jars of Nutella. By myself. Eating it with a spoon. :lookaroun

Had it on some toast this morning. Mmmm...:slurp:

Dot...glad you like Nutella! It's hard to not love it. :D

I just got from wedding dress shopping with my son's girlfriend.:cry:
Yep girlfriend. Not even engaged yet and already looking at dresses with me. They are talking about getting married in 2012.:zipit:
And they want the 3 girls in the wedding.

I don't care for this girl much.

Wow....does he know she's looking at wedding dresses? :lookaroun ((Hugs)) for you hon.

We had a wonderful sunny day here, and in the afternoon went down to see my parents. The last time we had visited was in January when they came up here for Joel's b-day. They have a huge photo mural on one of their bedroom walls that we made for their 50th wedding anniversary a few years ago, which they kept all together. Pictures of all of us with our kids from babyhood on up....and some of those kids now have children too.

Yes he does know. He was sitting right there when she asked me to go along. It was a strange morning for me.:lookaroun

Glad you got to go to your parents. Kids do grow up very fast.

Helloooooo. I had a wonderful birthday. I was able to see both sets of grandparents today, which was nice. Then went out to lunch with my best friend, then it was off to Disneyland. We watched the Celebrate Street Party. I got picked to go dance during the twist part. Sooooo much fun! We didn't have a whole lotta time in the parks, but it was fun.

Napa Rose was the best meal ever. I'm still full, 4 hours later. FULL. Mmmm...love their food.

And I went crazy at the World of Disney store with my birthday money. My parents got me some Mickey cooking utensils as a housewarming gift earlier this school year. They got me hooked. I am now the proud owner of 4 bowls, a wisk, a big spoon, a big fork thingy, a Mickey and Minnie oven mit, and a Mickey pot placer thingy. When I get my own place, I'm making my kitchen Disney themed. :D

So I copied and pasted this post from the other thread. But I just wanted to fill you guys in. :)

It goes well. We hosted a party at my house last night, and I'm still too lazy to get out of bed/encounter the rest of the house

Thanks! I had fun with it.
We got back around 10 last night, so apparently my cat thinks I was anxious to wake up at 4 this morning....

Colorado is getting a loooooot of snow right now. And it isn't stopping. Why do I have to leave this 80 degree weather??

((Hugs)) hon - I wouldn't want to leave either. I'm glad you had such a great birthday though.
We're just waiting for that weather to get over here - it's supposed to start tonight/tomorrow. Although it's supposed to get above freezing, so who knows whether we'll have snow or rain. It's the ice I don't want. :dazzle:

Hello all! Been a crazy hectic weekend...absolutely NUTS!

But wanted to share an update on grandma: She's doing alright, but they think she's fractured a part of her pelvis (I swear I heard them mention pubic bone as what she broke, which doesn't make sense on how she had fallen, but stranger things have happened I guess.) It's not a surgery thing, so it just has to heal. They're doing another CT scan today to double check that they are correct with their diagnosis and then will go from there on what needs to be done. She was much more herself last night though, when I went to visit, so that's good. Will keep you posted.
