I'm not sure which type of shows you mean. I think there are 2 adults on your trip, right?
I'm not a big fan of the current day parade, but you should see it once.
The Dream Along with Mickey show is cute. Again, it is enough to see it once.
The opening morning show is short and sweet. It really gets you in the Disney mood. Definitely get ther early one morning and see it.

Th nighttime shows are excellent. Spectromagic (or MSEP), Wishes and the Electric Water pageant are all great.

If you mean attractiontype shows like Philharmagic, those are also not to be missed. Great stuff.

If you haven't seen it, then you should see MILF(Monsters Inc. Laugh Factory). Same for the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Philharmagic is a must.

Country Bear Jamboree is take it or leave it.

If you mean dinner shows there was a thread a few days ago about this. I believe the majority of us recommend the Hoop de doo revue. Yes it is corny but can be lots of fun, and the food isn't bad either.

I would suggest that you see anything that you have time to see, especially if you've never seen them. That way, you can make your own judgment. Everyone has different tastes. Many people here would say that Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor is a waste of your time but I found it to be enjoyable. Try and experience as much as you can. You may walk out of something thinking that it was bad or corny or even a waste of your time, but at least you'll know for sure.

Yes, it's good to try everything because everyone making these recommendations has different tastes.

For instance, Country Bear Jamboree is one of my favorite attractions at WDW, and I can't stand Monsters Inc Laugh Floor...

If you do try MILF, be forewarned that they make fun of audience members on a video screen before and during the show, despite no warning sign outside the attraction that your "image or likeness may be used without your consent" during the show. I'm glad this didn't happen to me the one time I sat through it. I think if you sit in the very back and way off to the side, this is probably less likely to happen to you, but I don't know this for sure.

I highly reccomend Mickey's Philharmagic!

I also reccomend Carousel of Progress, and even though IMO the Under New Management version of the Tiki Room is not as good as the original, it has its charms and it's best to check it out to form your own opinion rather than listening to others.

These are all continuously-cycling shows. The MK does not have any real major, scheduled-time, live shows except the "Dream Along With Mickey" castle show, which I enjoy other than the lack of shade from which to view the show, which is especially brutal on a hot day.

While usually not considered "shows", I would put the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Wishes fireworks show on the DO NOT MISS list!

I think i will try to see what seems good at the time
Some reviews seem to have been on the harsher side IMHO.ALthough I am not the "show" type or person normally...I lose myself at WDW and Im three again and want to run and skip with Mickey Mouse...lol
The making fun of people thing....Im guessing its light hearted since its Disney
I ask because poor DH is losing his hair and is a lil sensitive about it.I would feel awful if he got embarrassed

I only saw MILF once so I don't know how bad the making fun potentially gets. One person gets picked on throughout the show (an adult male), but during the preshow the camera roams the audience, picks targets, and they put a caption on the people's pictures (like a silly jumbotron at a sporting event). I honestly can't answer whether they would or wouldn't make fun of your husband's situation because I haven't seen the show enough to know how far they would go. Perhaps a MILF regular would have a better idea.
