I def agree with banning them from rides, thats just stupid of someone to take them on one. But if someone is getting hurt by a selfie stick just from someone else standing around taking a pic... then they're the idiot lol.
I can see your point. However, I've seen people using the stupid sticks while walking, holding it eye-level, not paying any attention to what's going on around them. I think that's where the injuries come into play. Like the morons who text and walk at the same time and then walk into people/walls/cars, etc. They're just doing it with an extension at eye-level. I say if they're found in the parks, they should pay a fine (same for those people found smoking in line).
