After all that drama, Joe leaves us hanging?? ?

So I was freaking out... so I called my mom first to calm me down... got off with her and just hit call right away... didn't give myself a second to think about it...

she answered but it was loud and she couldn't really hear me... and then she dropped the "who is this?"



Then she went outside and I ws like "it's joe..."

she was like "oh yeah, from Whiskey's Saturday night right?"

(in my head i'm like... i sent you a text monday, and said "its joe from whiskeys" hahahaha)

so she immediately said she was going to a bar tonight (never heard of the bar) for a mardi gras party and invited me to come... but i was busy so i asked her about tomorrow night... but she said she works at that same bar on Saturdays, until like 11:00... but said to call her at 11:00 when she gets off and we'll hangout...

so... I guess that's the plan...

but she invited me right out before I could say my planned "so you wanna try and meet up this weekend" line... hahahaha... and then said tomorrow night after working for 13 hours at 11:00 p.m. she'd still meet me out...

No, from lugging boxes and setting up book fair. I did pretty much the whole thing by myself. But I didn't have nearly as many boxes to go through, so it wasn't a problem. I just really felt it afterwards. :lol:

Good morning - sad day today. Back to reality tonight....

We had a really nice day yesterday. Our friends from Jacksonville came down and met us for lunch. Then we took them Disneying. We shopped at the character warehouse, then on to Disney village, where much to our surprise there were huge sales going on. We shopped for a while then took the boat up to POR, where we shopped some more, and had a drink at the lounge there. From there we took the bus back to Disney village to pick up the car. We drove over to the POly and arrived just in time to see the torch lighting ceremony, which was really neat. Our friends did some more shopping, while we looked for a place for a quick bite to eat.

We finally decided to hop the monorail and eat at the food court there. That worked out well, since our friends had never ridden the monorail before, so seeing MK lit up in all its splendor was a real treat for them. The food was just OK, but the service was great. We hopped back on the monorail to go back to the car, then came back here to the condo. It was pretty cool here last night, but Dave had to hit the hot tub one more time.

The knee has improved, but I still have a lot of "discomfort", so I guess I'll have to have it checked out when we get back. Our friends pointed out that with all the ice and snow we've had this winter, I had to come all the way down here to fall.

Anyway, we're packing up now, so I probably won't be on again 'til tomorrow. I'll try to bring some FL sunshine back in my suitcase.

And then Grant just left to watch the hockey at a friends house, leaving me here with the kids and Em has a friend over. I think the rule should be, if one partner chooses to go out and make a drunken ______ of him/herself, then the other partner should be understanding enough to let them sleep until 3 o'clock the next day.
