Mama does not go out in the snow. I teach all my children (fur or otherwise) this from the day they are born. Snow is what Daddy is for.

Morning everyone. Sorry for the downer of a link...I don't even know how I came across it. It just really got to me...I actually cried, and I HATE to cry...and then I was just thinking of my wee Jack and how I'm afraid to even cut his nails because I'm scared I might hurt him...to hurt him on purpose is inconceivable.
Sadly the only bright spots in that story is that her life was brief, and she did not have to endure years of that horror and her sacrifice will raise awareness, and the penalties in that state are now tougher for this type of crime.
I know we're not supposed to judge...but I'm sorry, I do judge them and yes, they are lucky I was not on that jury.
Sigh...
Okay. I'm done. I want to have a happy day with my kids.
Abby not feeling well Jen? And Suse, are you and DH still sporting matching colds? You know what they say...the couple that sneezes together...will never get rid of the germs.

Honestly, I think Abby is dealing with sinus stuff - she went from a pet-filled home to a non-pet home (ours), and I think she's reacting to it.

worst parent award goes to me today...
I put the girl down for her nap today as usual. And as usual, she's fussing and talking to herself. She normally settles down in a few minutes and goes to sleep around 1:15-1:30... well, she just now went to sleep and it's because she had a poopy diaper and got diaper rash from sitting in it. I though she was just being stubborn and was upset that she didn't want to nap... but no, she was upset because her bottom was raw. Poor thing. And I even checked on her to see if she was okay.
Stupid stupid mommy...
