Sheraton Vistana Villages

we have atrip booked at Sheraton Vistana Villages, anyoen have any insight on this resort? we are excited about what we saw and read but if anyone here would like to share thier expierence i would greatly appreciate it

We just returned from there on June 10. Very nice resort with good facilities. We had a one bdrm and a two bdrm unit. The two bdrm is especially nice with full kitchen large rooms and a large jacuzzi tub in the master bdrm. Only took about 5-10 minutes to get to WDW theme parks. Has a large free-form pool with waterfalls and a smaller "quiet pool" which is meant to cater to adults but is usually filled with families and kids. Overall, an excellent place to stay - enjoy your trip.

We loved it

We have stayed at Sheraton Visatan twice. The most recent was Christmas 2005. The new buildings are beautiful, clean, quiet. But the timeshare sale is very heavy handed. We were even in the market for a timeshare but because of the hard sell, we were very turned off. Went out the next day and purchased a Disney Vacation Club timeshare. But Sheraton would have had the sale but for the hard sell. Now we're very very happy with Disney.

I've stayed there twice in the last 6 years. It kicks butt in my opinion. nothing flashing, but very nice. Clean. Comfortable. Open Floor Plans. I give it 2 Thumbs Up.

Very Clean, very comfotable and very convienent. The bad part is that its a wide spread out. But if your good at walking then your ok

We've stayed there several times...we love it. We had a two bedroom unit. Depending on which building you are assigned, you may have to walk over a wooden boardwalk to get to the pool but the pool is VERY nice. They have a smaller, quiet pool too that is heated and I always find that to be very relaxing.

The location of Vistana Villages is terrific...It's an easy drive to Disney property and you avoid much of the congestion.

One thing more, we stayed at the Oasis resort this year which is directly across the street. We noticed that there are several new buildings being constructed on the Vistana site. I don't know if that will affect your stay.
