Sharing meals

My younger sister (19) will be joining us for a couple days of our upcoming trip, we have the regular dining plan and I was wondering if I would be able to share my meals with her? I know the dining plan brochure says that I can't redeem a whole meal for her but it doesn't say anything about sharing. For example if we went to Liberty Tree Tavern and I ordered a cheeseburger, would they say anything if I cut it in half and shared it with her? I realize we couldn't do this at buffets but at regular menu restaurants would it be possible?

I don't see why it would be that much of a problem. A few years ago a friend and I shared a meal and an appetizer at the Liberty Tree Tavern since we had been snacking earlier in the day and no one blinked an eye.

If your sister is staying in the same room as you (and the rest of your traveling party) then you will have to purchase the Dining Plan for your sister as well. FYI

If she's only going for a few days of the trip, I think they can add her to the room reservation for those few days at the hotel front desk without needing to purchase the dining plan for her.

She won't be staying in the room with us, just joining us at the parks and for a couple meals. Has anyone on the meal plan shared a meal before?

I think this might be something that's up to the individual restaurant. Unfortunately I wouldn't count on it, but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask! If they do allow it, they may also charge a split plate fee.

I don't think they will let you do this. Each dining point is good per person for a table service meal.

For counter service meals, you can easily share. Places like Cosmic Ray's have huge meals that you can share.

For the TS places, she can order something and pay for it.

We've been on the dining plan and my daughter and I shared an entree, we both got apps that weren't on the plan and just paid for them. Our family always shares bites and bits of this and that so I can't imagine any restuarant would care!
