Shampoo and such

In a recent thread I was reading about what people do with the shampoo, lotion, ect. provided by the hotels. Some people donate theirs, others list them on ebay. What do you do with yours?

Also, I would have expected a better quality of shampoo, ect. at the Disney hotels than what you get. Some hotels in the country, like the W, charge about the same prices or less and have designer bath products. Disney seems to skimp on that a bit. Just my opinion:)

Hi HagansMommie! and welcome! ( I know the welcome is probably kind of late, but since this is the first time I've seen one of your posts, I thought I'd say welcome). And.... WAR EAGLE!!!

Your idea is a great one. Those small travel size items can cost as much as (or almost) as the full size. I should start doing that.

And on the issue of....is that stealing?..... No, I don't think it is. They kept putting them in my room even if I hadn't used them, so I think they are going to use the same amount even if you take them or leave them there. They would probably throw the unused ones away just in case.
I agree. It is not stealing. Stealing would be going over to the house keeper's cart and stocking up. I figure the products they leave in my room are for me to take. It is also advertising for them when you bring it home and other people see it and ask where you got it? And I bet you are right, they might have to dump the products you dont take with you cause they could be tampered with. So you may as well take them with you and use them when you start to miss WDW. :) By the way after reading more of the comments, I do agree that animal testing is wrong and wish Disney would use a company that did not test. It may cost a bit more, but I think it would be worth it.

LOL!!!  But you must remember Gail, there is always Mr. or Mrs. Idiot out there who are looking for a quick cheap way to get drunk. :brick: So they must test the products to know if it will be toxic for those idiots or not.

IMHO I would say that those idiots deserve whats coming to them if they're dumb enough to drink those products though.

There are those who would call it population control. :lookaroun

(meant to be a joke, folks ! )

lol man, You should see the amount of shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc. from disney world we have in our bathroom. I think my dad would hide ours before housekeeping came just so we could get more every day.
we've also got old Polyneisan robes, and a few wet paint signs with Donald Hewey, Dewey, and Louie on them.

They probably went and complained about there not being a sign too.

You earn squares according to the feedback that others on the site give to you. Click on the upper left where it says " user CP". Then you will be sent to a page where you will see what other people have said about some of your comments. You can earn green boxes when people liked your posts. If people rate you negatively, your boxes can become red.

I unfortunately, get a lot of comments from people who are evidently too new on the boards for their points to count toward my total. Those show up as gray on your CP page.

Thanks for the info, I knew about the rep. points, but did not know about the grey ones and how many per square? I know I have one green, how many for two greens?
Thanks again.
