Carey Poppins - Nanny and Disney Enthusiest
Good Morning All. I'am gonna have to stop torturing myself watching past Disney vacation DVDs of our trips..Last night I watched our 2010 and my ultimate Shake at Ghirardelli in Downtown.. The Nob Chill experience. It was awesome.( excuse for a moment whilst I wipe my mouth ) Thats better.Anyway it was right up there with my beloved Dole Whip..But what do you prefer on a hot Florida day to quench your thirst.A Shake or a Float.? Also, where would you get yours from.?;)

Hmmmmm....a shake or a float??? How about both! For the hot humid days, nothing is better then a Dole Whip float - pineapple/pineapple. But for those not so humid warm days where you just want to sit on a bench and watch the sights and listen to the sounds of Disney, I go shake. The best I have ever had is outside the park at Beach's and Cream - the black and white. A-MAZE-ING!

Not sure it counts as a float but the American dream drink at the snack stand in the American pavilion at Epcot is amazing
Thank you. I was wondering if anyone would mention this wonderful treat. I found it to be very refreshing on a hot day and will be getting it every trip to Epcot. It's kind of a combo slushie/shake and total yum.

The BEST shake I've had anywhere in WDW....oddly enough....is from the Sci-Fi Diner at DHS. Their food isn't all that good, but the orange shake they serve there (called "lava" something, I think) was just fantastic.

Also....I find at anytime that a good coke or root beer float (using a DDP snack option) always hits the spot.

Good to know - this will be good information to tempt DH with as he is not into Disney like me and the kids. He is however interested in food - that is why he agreed to the Deluxe Dining Plan this time. He keeps claiming this is our last trip - however, the kids and I are working the "evil plan." We'll be back after this trip - the plan is in place and he is none the wiser.
