Service Dog Whitney At WDW!!!

This is a pic recently taken at WDW this past Dec.... The characters love her as much as she loves them... Whitney had a great time.... Her favorite character is PLUTO of course.. LOL!!

Now that' pretty cool! We had a dog named Whitney, but I digress.....

What kind of service is Whitney used for? We had a service dog in our store recently that was used for balance and picking things up when dropped. Same kind?

A kindergarten teacher at my son's school trains service dogs. Once they're at an advanced level, she brings them to school with her, and the dog goes wherever her class goes...library, computer, art, chapel, etc. She usually has one chapel a year where she brings in a speaker and other trainers and their dogs, so the children in this school are all exposed to service animals, and understand that they aren't just pets, and can go places where their pets aren't allowed.

What a cutie! That is the coolest thing ever. I'm still absolutley amazed at how smart dogs can be. Being able to tell when a siezure is coming is miraculous. I'm sure you're very grateful to have such a loving companion!
