Just got back from the World and you can absolutely walk onto any ride you want. The max wait for any ride including all of the biggies was 5 minutes max. It was the greatest thing ever. Anyways, just had to let you know.

So much for the free dinning plan doing much.

But it can't be slow for me when I get there at the end of the month. I'll miss the lines, the little kids running into me in queue for Peter Pan, having to wait 80 minutes for Snorin' (when I could wait 5 here in DCA), fighting to get a good spot to see the parade, and most of all having to deal with people singing out of key to the fireworks!!!!!

Hey Jerm, I'll be there at the same time and I don't mind doing all of those things for ya! :p And my singing could be considered much worse than just out of key!!

Is this a typical September at WDW?

I've noticed how dead September has been so far with people's trip reports and updates on here.

If this is normal for September, I may be looking into going then the next time around. I'm going this January, first trip in that month. I heard Jan is pretty slow. How hot is it in Sept? Has it cooled off at all by then (probably not, since we're talking about FLA here)?

Just curious!

I wish I could take my butt down there during a slow time like this month. Unfortunately for me, next time Ill be able to go will be when everyone else in the country is able to go, so it will be PACKED.

It's normally like that in September. Although it's been about 4 years since I went in September before, I was a little worried this year with all the free dining plans that are out there. Let's hope it's just as empty when I get there on Saturday as it has been in the past years.

Hmmm, I am tempted to drive up this weekend and stay the night. After all, I have an annual pass and it is only 4 hours away, I wonder if DH will be up for it... :veryconfu

I went the third week in Sept 2005 for 3 days on a Mon, Wed & Fri.....lines were pretty much non exisitant everywhere except for Tower of Terror. That was the longest wait during the middle of the day and that was about 30 minutes.

This year going Sept 24-Oct 1......HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE JUST AS SLOW. Anyone there the last week of Sept 2005? ONLY 11 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!

September's Average high is from 90-92 and lows 74-76 depending on what part of the month you are referring too.

This will be our 3rd Consecutive September trip, and we have enjoyed all of them. With variable weather, and variable crowd levels over the last two.
