From what I remember it always starts out light like this and then they start adding to it.

I have NEVER seen MK and any other park for that matter share and EMH in the evening.

Hey if they are doing this because they think Colleen and I will be the only guests there in Sept, I can deal with that then...

There is a stretch where DHS closes at 7pm 4 nights in a row with no Fantasmic.

The September calendars out Monday is extra magic hours for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios also none for animal I feel like I have never seen 2 late nights on the same day does any one know what's up?

I think the MK is supposed to be sunday night not monday. I couldn't find september dates at disney.com so we'll have to see. Maybe they change things up for MNSSHP

Where did u see that? I'm not seeing that on the calendar here...

I wonder if they moved the EMH from Sunday to Monday due to MNSSHP? If you look at the first Monday of the month (9/1) DHS is the only one with EMH. MK doesn't. The second week EMH for MK is on Sudnay and DHS is on Monday. Then the parties start on Sunday and Friday (and possibly Tuesday? I don't remember if they had them on Tuesday's in past years. I know they had Fri and Sun) That's the only logical explaination for the change. Still doesn't make sense though why they didn't put MK EMH on Wednesday or Thursday. Looks also like Epcot starts the month with Friday EH and then they change to Wednesday.

There is no logical explanation to have it on the same day as another park.

I noticed that MK closes at 7 on 9/1, 9/5, and 9/6. I'm told the reason for 9/5-6 is because of Night of Joy. Why 9/1? Is MNSSHP being moved up? The closures at 7pm of 9/9 forward I know are MNSSHP.

9/5-6 are because of Night of Joy. Why 9/1? I'm sure that Sunday 8/31 will have extra long evening EMH leading into Labor Day. Maybe it just closes at 7pm for that very reason just to let cast members have the rest of the day off. Or there could be MNSSHP that night. Or something else.

Actually, no and no. It was very comfortable. Every ride was "walk on". I felt like I had free reign of the park. I didn't do character greetings so that's something you'll have to factor in for yourself if you're into that kind of thing. I liked going earlier in September. Although I haven't been in late October I have a feeling it's overrated. So what? It's the same party and more crowded. But I guess there's something to be said for going to the party on Halloween.

I know that at least for last year they had MNSSHP on Tuesdays, as that's when we went. But agreed, having two on the same day makes no sense.
