Sending a Pacakge to Resort?

Hello!

We would like to send down a box full of goodies to POFQ to be there when we check in, but I am not sure how exactly it needs to be done.

- Do we need to call the resort first to let them know a package is coming?

- Do we need to write our reservation number on the box?

- Since we have a UPS account, is there anywhere on property to send the box back home if we make a return label?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I did a search and the only one that came up was from 2007???

no, you don't have to notify the resort. i write my reservation number and check-in date on the label. you can send packages back at the front desk of the resort.

I did this my last trip and it was super easy. I went tp UPS, bought the box, stuffed it with as much stuff as it would hold and brought it to UPS. On the box I wrote my reservation number, last name and dates that I would be there. I wrote it ALL over the box so that there would be no mistake as I was very nervous about doing this. I brought it to UPS one week before I was to arrive in WDW, UPS weighed it and gave me a price (around $18) and sent it on its way. I did NOT call the All Star to notify them that it was coming.When I arrived to All Star Sports they actually TOLD ME at the front desk I had a package and it arrived in my room (they were holding it in a "central location off All Star Property") five minutes after we did. Now we didn't have to send anything back because we either used all of what was in the box or stuffed it into out suitcase so I can't answer your question regarding that...but everything else was smooth sailing. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be doing it again for my trip in November.

When I called the resort to make my room request, I got the address.

I don't have it with me this moment, but if you would like I could pm it to you tomorrow!

Check out Allears.net; she's got all the addresses for all the resorts. We did this for the Beach Club... We have Owners Locker and wanted to have "full size" items to put into our purple locker. It worked out great.
