I strongly suggest looking at crusies. This April we are going on our 5th cruise (2nd Disney). My wife nixed the idea, but if I could do every vacation on a ship I would. I enjoy boarding and then forgetting everything for a week. They do it all for you... the only real decision is what to decide next.
Or, a Sandals resort. We recently did one for the first time (Grande in St Lucia) and loved it. Just like a cruise as all inclusive goes, only much more room, most activities were also included (like SCUBA, snorkling, sailing, etc), and alcohol was also all inclusive.
I love cruising, but I really would like to get back to a Sandals resort (only that travel to St Lucia is a HAUL - car -> plane -> helicopter -> car
It's good to take a break. For me, it is one of our only avenues of entertainment so it is a huge splurge. We probably give the mouse the percentage of our income that responsible people reserve for their mortgage.
