Security at Bag Checks moving to full Metal Detector use

Does Six Flags over Texas have the same team member do the metal detector and then check your bags? It seems to take longer with only one person at teach machine.

I havent been since Christmas so... You get your ticket or pass scanned and I believe there might be a metal detector person waving you through. The bag check is yet a different person. But everyone that goes through gets checked. Sometimes you get the wand.

Will the same security measures be used at the Grand Californian gate? Any chance they may temporarily close this gate for safety reasons?

The Grand California gate always had everyone go though the metal detectors. I believe the monorail station also sent everyone though the metal detectors too. The main gate is the only one that didn't always do that.
