I hope they are all new cars cause the old ones were tight! Last time, I had to ride with my two kids. It was a very tight ride. I heard that the new cars will have one that allows the loading a wheelchair. That would be awesome

Can't load a wheelchair, but one of the dumbos is a transfer access vehicle which the side of the dumbo can come completely up so it makes transferring from wheelchairs easier.

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Why? What did Paris end up getting?

After a series of technical faults DLP sent their Dumbo to DL as their version had become stationary, this happened 12-18 months before DLP opened. Another one was then ordered for DLP.

Dineyland's Dumbo had many problems fom the very beginning !

we took my 4 y/o niece for her 1st disney trip so we just rode dumbo the other night (june 3rd), it was pretty at night. the addition of the water feature was nice. the ride was smooth and everything was all sleek and shiny as only new stuff can be. they didn't have the second one up and running yet but looking over the little wall it can't be far off.

I personally think if you had a preference because which one was the original Dumbo, you are being silly. They are both the same ride, in a totally new location so the nostalgia of flying right below the castle is gone. I think the new location is fantastic, and love the foilage around the ride, but it really has become a different experience.

Except for those of us who stalk their every move, nobody else will know which one was the "original". Besides, they re-made all the elephants, so unless hydraulics and the spinner hold a special place in your heart, it's a new ride.

I know I get tear eyed every time I think about the hydraulics on the old Dumbo spinner...gives me warm fuzzies and makes me want to hug things incessantly ;)

I actually think I've been on Dumbo a grand total of once in all my visits...we got lucky and the line was 5 minutes one night.

I MAY have ridden once when I was very young (early 80s), but since then, my first ride that is in my memory was back in March, right after it opened. We went back to see Circus Land at night, and since Wishes started there was nobody back there.

We took a spin on Dumbo and even rode Barnstormer for the first time ever. After those two, my head was spinning (they're not good for motion sickness). Until I have children, I have no need to ride either of those again ;)

Haha, ok, Barnstormer is definitely another one I've only ridden once, and it has been a long long time since I road it. I'm sure it is fine but the ride never seemed worth the wait for us.

Fortunately, we walked right on...but when the ride stopped, we looked at each other and said, "That's it?"

I can't imagine how irritated I would have been if I'd stood in an hour line in the Florida sun, only to have a 30-second ride (or whatever it is).

BTW, Barnstormer vehicles aren't designed to comfortably fit two adults. I may have a couple extra pounds on me, but she doesn't...and boy was it cozy.

I think the same could be said for Dumbo...I've never seen two adults sitting comfortably together in it. The two other adults I was with were all in separate Dumbos because it would have been just too small and none of us are that big. We would have squeezed together if the wait was longer but yeah, I have no idea why anyone waits that long for what I think is actually about 1 minute and 1/2 maybe? And Barnstormer too. So short.
