It is almost incomprehesible now to try and take in all they are doing. I just can't imagine what this will look like in the evenings. Wow!

All that and then add fireworks. Jaw dropping

With this kind of progress, it might even be open before I arrive on May 25th. Woud be great to get some nighttime long exposure shots with both in the frame.

Highly doubt that it will be open that soon. They still have to put the Dumbos on the arms and do testing and adjusting for it. We are probably about a month or so away before testing and adjusting. They did about 3 weeks of testing and adjusting for the brand new Dumbo.

But won't the FLE be closed off during fireworks? Or are they rethink the launch zones also?

Not necessarily, only the area behind the castle where the effect fireworks are needs to be cordoned off. We used to always watch from Toontown, so distance wise the BATB and LM areas could remain open, as well as the path around the SW area.

So imagine the view from behind the carousel watching the fireworks over Beast's castle!

Correct. The backstage road immediately north of Be Our Guest/Belle's village is the edge of the fallout zone for the fireworks. And everything in the Expansion that's closest to the launch site is a building (Be Our Guest).

Our favorite place to watch was while riding dumbo. Something about being up in the air as the fireworks went off, it was always a lot of fun.

Timothy Mouse

Am I the only one, but does anyone else miss Timothy Mouse on top of the Dumbo? Don't get me wrong, I love how beautiful everything is turning out, but I miss seeing him up there. Is he going to be showed anywhere?
So amazing to see 2 rides. I cannot wait to see how they both looking running at the same time at night time!!

I believe its been stated in a few spots that he will be featured in some way in the interactive queue area. At the very least he still gives the safety spiel.

took a peek backstage at central shops again today.. all of the parts for dumbo that were there and in bubble wrap are now gone..

The only thing that remains are a fleet of dumbos freshly painted sitting outside of the paint shop.. I have a picture, but that won't be posted online for obvious reasons.

I think the 2nd spinner is only a couple weeks away.. I doubt it'll be july.

If the new queue is not ready I could see them waiting until it is done before opening the second Dumbo.

TLM is almost directly south of the launch site isn't it? Probably doesn't matter though I guess as this area was a ride for many years, does anyone remember if 20K ran during the fireworks presentation?

No, the launch site is directly north of the Be Our Guest building (you can see it on aerial views on Google Maps).

20K ran because the show building was entirely enclosed, but even then it was just outside the fallout area.

I think some people are getting the fallout zone mixed up. There are actually 2 fallout zones.
