It is definitely hard, but I'm doing so well with it. He just wants me to do better.
And I'm trying, really I am. It's just not easy. And he equates that with not loving him or being proud of him. It's all very hard b/c I don't know what he has going in his head. More reason he needs to talk to somebody himself.

I know...I know. It isn't easy for him.
But that's the key, he needs to understand my feelings too...and last night, he wasn't understanding at all. No where near understanding

Nibbs..I do not think he thinks that it is everyones else's problem and not his..but in this situation..he is the odd one out..thank you Freddy dear.
It is definitely hard, but I'm doing so well with it. He just wants me to do better.
It is something different and unexpected to all of you and I am sure he wishes that everyone would just treat it the way they would if he had a gf..
I think he knows how hard this is because it is something new and different to you all but he wants it to be treated like it was "Okay" to you all.
I think counseling for all of you would be a good thing..that way you all can get a better understanding of each others side.
Maybe if you talk to him and tell him that you do love him but you need to get used to this and that will take some time but you are willing to get to know and understand what is going on in his head..
I know some people feel differently but you know he just wants to have the same things that you have and everyone else has in their own relationships..love and companionship and happiness..it is just in a different way then you and everyone else is used too.
It still is the same though...Love is love..no matter who you are with and maybe once he see's that you are all willing to try to understand better he will lighten up..He is in defense mode it seems and he feels like he has to defend what he is doing.:shrug:
I may be wrong but that is my thoughts..
