Listen to their options, but I would insist on keeping her in the class. If they're already cutting back on what she has to do in 4th grade, it will just be harder for her in the upper grades. I know it's a struggle for her now, but that's why she needs a tutor or an aide or whatever.

I am hoping to talk to the teacher today about tutoring. DD came home yesterday and said she is to start tutoring next week but I didn't get a letter on it yet so I need to ask the teacher. I want her to stay in class.
