I'm starting to come back down to earth.
It was fantastic. Like a fairytale. I'll have pictures at some point, but they're not on my computer yet.

Not so you can see, but I know he at least came very close. There were some special moments for him. . . The rest of use didn't know it, but he memorized the words to "Daddy's Little Girl" and sang it to Lauren as they danced to it. That was a real tear-jerker.
Judy already baked him his cake, but he's taking her to breakfast next Sunday anyway.

Sorry I didn't send my message until today...I was having my own stressful-ish day furnature/decorating shopping. (I found out, I'm very picky and my house is difficult to decorate! :lol: )

I knew that when I danced with my dad I would cry...so I just tried not to look at him and we just sang My Girl to each other.

Now, when my mom had the dance that apparently she'd planned for us, I bawled like a baby!

I was looking at your pics. You have an odd-shaped room there. I'd try to open it up a little though by placing the furniture in such a way so that you can move between the two rooms, if that is possible. Your table setting is gorgeous!

The most teary part of the evening was Stacey's toast. . .OMG. . .all day long everyone was telling Lauren she was the calmest bride ever. . .but Stacey made her lose it completely. It was beautiful.

Yeah...it is a very odd shaped room! It's never going to be able to be "opened up" 100%. All I can hope for is a walk way through. I'm still working with it though. We'll see. I might have to get rid of one of the end tables and either put it in the basement or put it in another part of the room, so that's it's more of just a table instead of an end table.

And thanks for liking my table setting. I never use that area, so I thought I'd make it pretty.
