She'll be six weeks on Tuesday...
It goes faster and faster (*thinks about my 5'2" daughter*). My niece's youngest just turned a year old last week, and they're having a party next Saturday. Gives me a reason to visit the toy section of Walmart this week.

Ah... shopping for wee ones is fun, no? I spent waaaay too much on baby clothes for her at the Carter's Outlet. Never mind that i no longer have a single pair of shorts that fit me any more, baby needs her dresses!It goes faster and faster (*thinks about my 5'2" daughter*). Mine too. I can make a reasonable faxsimilie with my ice cream maker to tide me through the winter... but it's not the same.
At least she got to wear her newborn clothes. DD started out in a 3-6 month size!

Wow! She's just now starting to grow into her 0-3 stuff. I look at her now, in all 8 1/2 pounds of glory, and think to myself - some babies come out that big!

DD was 9 1/2 pounds - 22 1/2 inches long.....Wow! She's just now starting to grow into her 0-3 stuff. I look at her now, in all 8 1/2 pounds of glory, and think to myself - some babies come out that big!

Ew...did I tell y'al they're making us hook up to public sewer after 40 grand and a year of putting in a new septic system?

That's what happened to our neighbors. They totally redid their septic (after checking with the city about when we would get sewers and being told not for another 10 yars), spent a small fortune, then 2 years later the city ran the sewer lines down our street and now they have to hook in. As Nibbs would say, Stink!
