Oh my gosh, I remember when the U.S. went into Afghanistan right after 9/11. On Good Morning America, they had a story about 2 little girls whose dad was in the service there. They showed clips of the girls and their mom going about their days. To remind them that their dad was still there for them in spirit she would play that song and they would sing along with it. It was their anthem to their Dad. On the show that day, they had Lonestar sing the song with the 2 little girls helping them. There wasn't a dry eye in the place.
