If they're building a water park, its seems likely to me that this will be the start of a some what small, resort. I can see them building a hotel.

They will not build a hotel.

^ I've heard differently... but you have more info than I do so I'll trust you on that.

They already own a large hotel, one operated by another company.

If they were to build their own, they would have to sell the current hotel, which I do not see happening. Also, they would lose a MAJOR partner.

Ah I see. It just seemed natural progression to me, but if they already have one, I guess not!

same thing......they own the land under many of the hotels around the area.....but everything is partnership/non-compete...if they buildtheir own, or a property that competes with a current hotel.....they get screwed

Why would they play Universal music and Disney music (indiana jones & star wars) at their own attractions? It would seem more logical to make up their own music for their own attractions, just as they did for their shows (Blue Horizons, Shamu Adventure). BTW, Kirsten, do you have the song that they play at the end of Shamu Adventure? the one they play during the end credits?

I'm glad they're putting in the new waterpark. It will not only enhance the Sea World Orlando Resort, and make it more vacationable, but it will also draw more to the area. I'd just like to see another B&M attraction at SWO!

I would not expect it.

JTA and Kraken were built to give the park a slight offering of what IOA would be offering (as IOA was the biggest threat to SW before it opened)

5 years later, IOA is not doing great, SW was not really effected, so the park is moving on.

Are you referring to the one with vocals and guitar? If so, it's on the Shamu Adventure CD.
