Sea Cabs

I know this may have been discussed a while ago and if it was please forgive me. When I was in Fla in Jan, the Seacabs were not operating at the living seas. Are there plans to re-open them, have they been re-opened, or are they planning on changing the system entirely?

No, they are gone, and as far as we know, gone for good. No system that I know of is set to take their place.

Actually everything is still there, they're not using it because of budget cutting issues. If they want to put them to work tomorow they just need to put Cast member over there and turn them on.

Actually if any ride needed to be re-vamped its The Living Seas. I just dont get this attraction. There is not much to do at all. Our Zoo in Cleveland is better......

Its not so much a money issue, as it a sensor issue. Some guests insist on trying to get out of the sea cabs, weather it be to get a closer look at the tank... or just pure stupidity... and they set off the sensors that shut everything down :hammer: So that became a HUGE hassle... and they just decided to shut them down for good.

When I was backstage last month... I did see a couple of sea cabs by the paint shop..dunno what that means though.

They have been shut down for a while now because they were shut down in Nov too. I definantly think this is the next pavillion to get updated(after the geosphere of course).
