Ok then,

Visiting Epcot yesterday, I rode SSE as I got there, as I was hot from the walk from the parking lot. Anyway, we got to the top of the ride and noticed one little detail....EARTH IS BACKWARDS! I don't know if they were cleaning the slide that projects earth, and put it back in reversed or what, but the earth looks very confusing when it is displayed in such a fashion.

Whoops!

I was just thinking about how Universal has a similar mistake (though for a reason). Ever notice anything unusual about the globe in front of USF?

I am so glad someone else noticed that about the USF globe! I noticed it and thought I was wrong because a huge corporation surely wouldn't make such a silly mistake like that. But thank you for saying it, because now I don't feel like I'm losing my mind! I can understand the reasoning behind it, but there had to be have a simple enough solution to fix that issue.

man. And here I was, believing that Florida was on the west coast. I'd laugh at California, Washington, Oregon, and Vancouver and all of those Atlantic states.

West-Side!

Knowing Disney lately, anything is a good reason to put a ride on seasonal operation or close it completely!!
Disney closes rides not because of mistakes but because they are unpopular and/or not drawing quest satisfaction.

what is wrong with the globe at universal

It rotates the opposite direction.....

Maybe this is jsut Disney trying to one-up Universal....Uni made the world rotate the opposite way, so Disney reversed the whole planet....now that is imagineering!

Too funny... oh well, I still have the same distance to travel to get my fix of the Magic. I just have to drive south-west instead of south-east! :)
