Scrims coming down on Main Street USA

Will the work on the pavements be extensive and throughout the day or easy fixes mostly done at night??

Much of the pavement work they've done in the MK to date has been in sections, overnight. I would hope that they continue doing it this way. Everything is colored concrete, and is easy to bust up and replace, in manageable quantities.

Of course, if they go back with themed (stamped) concrete, like in Circus Land, they'll have to wall off large areas at a time, because it takes significantly more time and effort.

I wouldn't see why they would cover the East Alley up with a new building when they just refurbed (or restored) it.

Agree 100%. Disneyland Paris also has a lovely brick/cobblestone main walkway (and includes the horse car track unlike HKDL). Would love to see that happen at WDW-

Wow, this really does look amazing but I would imagine doing this would cause ALL parades at MK to halt until the work had finished...among other things like the Trolly/Welcome Show on Main Street, etc.

There have been scrims on main street the past 3 years...and every time I would see main street the first time on each vacation I would be upset cause I have never been able to take pics of main street without scrims...BUT it looks great! There better not be any new scrims up in December or I will be mad lol

I think that this looks outstanding. I love the colors.

I also love the fact that they are down before our trip in 3 days. I am usually OK with the disruption a refurb may cause, but please do not mess with my view of the castle.

They look great...but I'll hold my celebration until they give attractions the work they need.

I think it best to celebrate each as they occur. I celebrated the decent BTMRR refurb and I will celebrate this. Everything can't happen at once. Cheers!

Could they do the walkway as an overnight project over time by only doing small sections at a time so no one would complain AS MUCH!?
Yes, it may have mismatched walking area but at least the views would not be obstructed with walls
