I was in the same boat as you. I hated highschool! You always had to sit around and listen to kids get yelled at who couldn't handle themselves, the schedules were oppressive, and I won't even mention the daily soap opera of teen hormones. Highschool is a nightmare for people who don't fit exactly into the norm. If you're too smart, too artistic, too quiet, too mature, or too anything, you get shoved out to the sidelines (where you get a true picture of how congested and irritating it really is). I was fortunate to have a small closeknit group of friends who shared my enlightened point of view.
Senior year is a bit of a break ( more freedom + less work = blow off classes ). Fear not! College heals all wounds.
