I was in the same boat as you. I hated highschool! You always had to sit around and listen to kids get yelled at who couldn't handle themselves, the schedules were oppressive, and I won't even mention the daily soap opera of teen hormones. Highschool is a nightmare for people who don't fit exactly into the norm. If you're too smart, too artistic, too quiet, too mature, or too anything, you get shoved out to the sidelines (where you get a true picture of how congested and irritating it really is). I was fortunate to have a small closeknit group of friends who shared my enlightened point of view.

Senior year is a bit of a break ( more freedom + less work = blow off classes ). Fear not! College heals all wounds.

As per Imagineers Wrangler comment - real New Yorkers don't need Sport Utilities!

Good to know I'm not the only one.........I've got an extremely easy year asside from all my college applications and portfolio work I need to do. I think I'll enjoy the year for the most part. Tramp it's good to know someones watching out for me and making sure I dont end up........uhhhh in prison lol :D

I was just sitting here thinking about being a senior in high school, yada, yada, and then I remembered that I am a senior in college as of this semester. It is exciting to start a new semester/new school year. I've gotten to know so many new people already this semester and I've just been going for two weeks now. DisJosh and WDW-I, take advantage of every opportunity - they may never come again - you only get to go through high school once - cliche' cliche'. And most of all, enjoy being a senior and rulin' the school!!:p

Josh, Who cares if you are Popular or outgoing. Excuse my french but the majority of the people that are popular or outgoing are . Be youself NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER try to be someone other than yourself. You will find later in life that being "popular" means . I wish you all of the luck this year and never let the bastards keep you down. You will be O.K. In ten years from Now you will look back on this and laugh beacause you probably will have alot more friends and a family of your own and the "popular" people in high school will be in re-hab or flipping burgers. My only advice to you,( and it was my mistake that I did'nt) is STUDY YOU"RE OFF. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
