School vs Disney

Soooooo we have had a trip planned for Oct 25-Nov 2 for a while.

I had signed up for classes then there was an issue in the computers and it accidentally knocked me out of all of my classes. I had to re-register and my schedule changed. So, I changed my flight to the 27th instead.

Tonight, I changed it back. I know I'll be p***ed if my family is there for 2 days without me, and I'll have my laptop for my homework anyway.

Yeah, so I guess Disney won.

I am going to the world the week before thanksgiving - I am telling myself I am brining my laptop to work on a paper that is due that week, LOL. I tried that before and it did not happen. Hopefully you have better luck than me :wave:

What program are you in, and how many days are you *actually* missing?

Because I know I could handle to miss 2 days for Disney.. worth the extra work upon return!

My daughter took all online classs this semester so it would not mess up her Disney trip. Disney won with her too!

My roommate is leaving for Disney The 28th and coming back the 2nd. So she is missing all her classes only 1-2 times. Her professors don't care if she's gone she can only have 4 absents a semester though per class. So if she went over that, she would fail.

Meh, guessing school wins now, being in college and all. Don't have much time for Disney except in between semesters. Shame for me, though when college is officially over, I am going to go there first thing after.

I take evening classes, and have in fact skipped out on a class or two for the very same reason. Usually I just inform the prof. that I will be missing for some reason and they if I tell in advance, usually are pretty cool with it. Believe me I would feel the same way if my party was down for a few days without me.
