We are flying on Saturday. We are getting in at MCO around 6pm - so I figure I won't make it to my room at CSR before at least 7:30 pm.

After we check in, can you guys recommend something we can do to get in to the Magic, without visiting a park that night?

Well, not having much time, you could simply walk around the resort and visit another resort you think is interesting or beautiful. Also, have a meal in one of the resort restaurants, dont know if you're on the DDP or not but maybe reserve a 2 credit place and enjoy your first night at the World.

Have a late meal in Downtown Disney and then just walk around for a couple of hours. It's always the first thing my family does. The Lego sculptures are always fun.

You can consider miniature golf, a meal at Downtown Disney or in the resort. For us the magic kicks in immediately. Have fun.

Well it's DTD! Just not sure what will do there... I guess we will be spontaneous!

We always love walking around DTD if we don't go to the parks. There are shops, a movie theatre, Cirque du Soleil, restaurants, sitting by the boat docks relaxing, or getting a drink somewhere. You will definitely find something to do over there! Have fun!

You will find plenty to do I promise. Just walking around in all the shops could take you quite a few hours. Be sure to go to Ghiradelli (sp?) and get a free chocolate sample!!

If you don't want to have a full sit down meal the first night I HIGHLY suggest Earl of Sandwich. It's one of my favorite places to eat in the world and for what it is is well priced. Have a great trip!!

Head over to the Boardwalk have a snack or meal, get some drinks and wander around Cresent lake until Illuminations begins then watch them from afar from the beach at the Yacht & Beach club.

I say just walk around the resort and try to soak everything in. You're in WDW! Take it easy because the rest of your stay there will probably be pretty busy.

You're paying a premium to stay at a Disney resort.

And one with beautiful grounds, a fantastic pool, and an awesome lounge.

Why are you even considering looking outside Coronado Springs for fun????

More food options and get more of a Disney feel.

I would say dinner/drinks and then watch the fireworks from the Polynesian beach.
