Super Bowl 43 MVP Santonio Holmes was just on NFL Live on ESPN at The Magic Kingdom at WDW. When they were showing him at MK it was raining and people were walking down Main Street wearing ponchos. Also I heard the WDW Train blow its whistle. I just thought that this would be interesting to share with everybody. I am a Buffalo Bills fan but I would like to congratulate the Pittsburgh Steelers on their Super Bowl victory and I also congratulate the Arizona Cardinals on reaching their first Super Bowl ever. If anyone wants to post any thoughts or information about the Steelers in WDW or anything relating to the Super Bowl you are more than welcome to, :D.

Nah...Harrison is the thug.
He should have been ejected and fined for the beating he put on that Cardinal.

Never thought I would say this but I would NOT want to be in MK to see that parade! Kidding! Root for a team in Pitt's division but I'd go to MK anytime. I'd be on Splash Mt during the parade. :)

Thank you. Although I haven't re-watched the game, several people who have said that the guy Harrison was "assaulting" had attempted to punch him in the groin. The open-handed shove after the the guy started to get up is a perfectly legal play as long as it's before the whistle. I won't make excused for the hits on the ground. But if someone was trying to deliberately injure me I'd do the same.

If you want to talk about thugs and criminals just look at the Bengals or Ravens.

Yeah that whole business of Ray Lewis ratting out his friends so he wasn't charged with murder makes him a real upstanding member of society. Maybe that's why he was the only Super Bowl MVP that Disney didn't use for the "I'm going to Disney World" commercial.

Disney didn't have any problems with Santonio Holmes doing it though.....interesting. He and the Mickster looked like good buddies during that parade. If he is a good enough guy that Mickey likes him, he must be an alright dude. I guess I'll just side with Disney on the thug/non-thug issue.

EDIT: What cheating? And who got charged with drug dealing on the Steelers? Lies and slander I tell ya.

no body was charged. santonio admitted to dealing drugs when he was younger. he has also been arrested for disorderly conduct and assault

and yeah cause one person makes the entire team filled with thugs, good calculations there. ray lewis also participates in numerous charity events, even receiving an award for his work in the community.

I agree, that's why I was trying to defend my beloved Steelers. If the Ravens aren't thugs because of Ray Lewis, then I don't think anyone could call the Steelers a bunch of thugs because of Santonio Holmes. Each is just one person out of a team of 53 and an organization of hundreds.

There were just a few people that started calling the Steelers out, saying they cheated and whatnot, which was obviously just some bitter jealousy that I was hoping to point out.

And just out of curiosity, how does doing charity work make up for a person's life? There is a reason they give murderers prison time and not community service. He could be the greatest philanthropist and charity worker of all time, and it still wouldn't take away from the fact he was intimately involved in the murder of someone.

i wasn't trying to justify that he was involved in a murder somehow by bringing up his community work. i was trying to show, i guess, that he has at least attempted to make a better life for others through charities and community work, something the common thug most likely wouldn't participate in

He was also arrested for possesion of marijuana earlier at the start of this past season during a traffic stop near the Mellon Arena (where the Penguins play.)

Now, Steelers Nation, don't get me wrong here...I'm as big a fan of the Steelers and the Rooneys as everyone else...however, when an organization has a huge banner at the 50 yard line that says "Zero Tolerance" with a big Steelers logo, and a certain player only gets a one game suspension, I think it's being a bit hypocritical. What if that was Limus Sweed that got pulled over? He'd probably be cut.

I'm extremely happy that Santanio made the awesome catch he did. But I have no respect for drug users, and I think it sets a poor example for the youth that look up to these guys as role models and heroes.

I'm just sayin...that's my 2 cents. I'll get off my soap box now...
