Hey Gang, I saw Food Network's Jeff Mauro in a one hour special tonight. It was based a lot on food but also showed numerous highlights from the parks. I gotta say, I enjoyed that more than the holiday parade. Did anyone else catch it, if so, thoughts?

It was neat, but felt like an infomercial. Either way I was happy we stumbled upon it tonight since we decided to stay home today instead of driving over to EPCOT. Too cold lol.

I enjoyed watching it. Was he holding his MB as he entered the Safari? It looked odd. My DH asked me what it was and I assume it was his MB.

I will say this to start, I love the Sandwich King show and I think Jeff is very funny and I have made some of the recipes on his show and they have turned out great. I was also very excited to watch the show last night and I will probably watch it a zillion more times, just like every Disney show, but it did feel like it was an infomercial. Jeff sounded like he was very scripted and stiff and the showing my Disney side lines were cheesy. My husband and I paused the show quite a bit to rip it to shreds a little.

Saw it!! My favorite part was when they were on the safari and he said something along the lines of, "Boy, my son was really showing his Disney Side"

Ugg cringeworthy:hungover:
Totally forgot about the Showing Your Disney Side references but oh yeah, add that to the list of propaganda crap.

I would love a show about Disney restaraunts...or food...or technology...or whatever. We watch the stuff because we're fans and already love Disney. But to hear over and over about how "easy it was when we used our Magic Bands" or the absolute ridiculous scripted part when they were setting up Fastpasses while sitting at dinner and it was "just that easy!" Uuuhhhhhgggggghhhhhh. Just show me a sandwich already!

It was a good show but it was more of a commercial for Disney than a Food Network food special. I did like how they plugged the "Disney Side" multiple times for his each of his family members. It was so subtle...NOT!!! Either way it did its job with entertaining me.

I saw the show this afternoon on the Food Network. With the exception of a few instances of (lame) dialogue, it was a very pleasant show.

Also, I couldn't help but notice that any time they referenced Disney Hollywood Studios, they showed the Earful Tower, and not the BAH! :)

We caught the last 15minutes or so. My 9 yr old daughter noticed when he was talking about Fantasmic he said the evil queen from Cinderella when it was the evil queen from Snow White. She was so excited she caught something the editors didn't.
