I ate there two years ago and loved the atmosphere, and thought the food wasn't bad either.

I think it is fine, although all our visits were before new menu. Old menu was rather simple fare, but good taste and not exotic. Stuck to our ribs, filled us up, and we were happy. We always make ADR there if we plan on being in WS. We will definitely try new menu there on our next trip to WDW.

What was so bad about the original menu?

It was similar to the southwest/tex-mex stuff you would find at a chain restaurant for a much higher price. There was nothing unique about the food and it wasn't very good. The new menu is much much better.

Now I'm not crazy about mexican food - but my fiance is. And the atmosphere looks amazing. I've looked over the menu but it doesn't really help with my question: Is any of that stuff "not super mexican tasting?" :lol: I am a super picky eater.
