Well, DisneyJill, it sounds like you didn't have any trouble getting in. If that's the case and we did pretty much the same thing (I didn't have a recommendation from a professor because none of mine would have known what the CP is and I didn't have a referral card because they just started doing a presentation on my home campus last spring and I don't think anyone actually got chosen from VCU to go down there, but everything else I did was very similar to what you did) I guess I shouldn't worry about getting chosen either

Good luck!! My interview was tough. I interviewed with 2 recruiters and another student. I didn't really feel like it was a competition though, we wanted totally different roles. Let me know how it turns out!!!

I don´t know how it works for the CP, but for my international program, I was asked to send my resume with a cover letter no longer than one page saying why I would like to work for Disney. I did, they called me, the rest is history... :animwink:
Well it seems to me the people who interviewed around the same time as myself have already received notification, I am still wondering what the status of my acceptance is now that I think about it I shouldn't have told them I don't wan't to work in food and beverage!

Don´t worry about that. I didn´t even mark F&B in my options. I didn´t want to work there at all and wouldn´t have accepted if they had offered it to me. I was accepted for the program I wanted in the first place, so don´t worry, you were just honest and that´s a good thing. :animwink:
Yeah your probably right not to worry about it, I think all of this waiting is just drving me crazy!

I just about drove myself crazy waiting to hear from Disney and
I only had to wait a week. They said I would receive an e-mail, so I was checking my hotmail at least 37 times a day. :lookaroun I never did get an e-mail, just a packet in the mail. Don't stress about it like I did. I was just nuts-o for a week.
Do they actually notify by mail or e-mail?
We'll my friends I have finally received my notification today and I couldn't beleive it, but I was accepted and even in the operations role I had requested I was also accepted into Spring Advantage.
This is probably the best news I have ever received it's me and the mouse now I am so excited and hope to meet some of you down there in January!

No I haven't choose an arrival date yet just because I am still floored by this amazing news, however I am breaking into this packet now to go ahead with all of the necessary procedures!
