Figuring they will lean more toward credits than refunds, next year's races could be difficult to get entry into.

Would make sense. I hope runDisney will give priority to those with credits from next month's race. I just hope they don't do their usual dithering, ala Anaheim races, in announcing the cancellation. If WDW reopens before Memorial Day, I'll be surprised.

That's what I think will be the trigger to cancel next month's races. Damn. September in Boston won't be fun and they've lost the connection to Patriot's Day.

Weather shouldn't be a problem by then. Typically we are only seeing highs of mid 70's. Not as good as April, but could be much worse.

So if the Rival Run is cancelled and credits are given towards future races, which non-Star Wars race does everyone think is the best to sign up for? I've only ever done the Rival Run. Just curious on the opinions.

W&D is my fav, but I’m certainly biased. It’s a similar (if not the same) course, and the participant size is comparable. Marathon weekend is fun - there’s a really good energy, and I’ve never done Princess, but I’d always recommend W&D.

I think it’ll open again but you can always sign up with a charity once that opens.

I really hope they at least give the option to get some money back or apply to a future race but do something virtually so you can earn the medal, shirt, and merch. My wife and Inare big Ahsoka fans and will be totally bummed if we don’t have the opportunity to at least get the medals.

CDC is now recommending against gatherings of 50 people or more for the next 8 weeks. No way this race is happening.
