Rumors of Tommorowland and 20k

i think that Test Track needs a Sr. Autopia. Where big kids, such as myself, can actually drive a big nasty go kart around a real track. But they should theme it up like you are on a test track.

It is a Circlevision 360 film with an AA where the host podium is (voiced by Robin Williams I think)

The film takes you back in time to France to a world's fair or something, and the camera is voice by the girl that played Carla on cheers (I think)

I'm always amazed that people think the CoP can just be picked up and moved. If it was that simple, I think they would have done that by now....if for no other reason, to move it a bit out of the way and open up some space.

Wasn't it picked up and moved from the NY World's fair to Disneyland, and then picked-up and moved again to WDW?

Valid point. I too like the idea of original attractions, however tron (especially tron 2.0) is obsolutely perfect for an attarction. It is visually stunning, has on amazing story, and would provide state of the art technology. As far as transition, you could easily make an entrance for it on the side near space mountain, and mask what ever part of the show building you need to with trees and other buildings on the fantasyland side of things. WDWI can always find ways around minor details such as transition between lands. In addition, although tron has a definete cult following, many people probally wouldn't be familiar with it being a movie and a pc game, much like Splash mountain or the fact that the movie African queen was used as inspiration for jungle cruise. Also, I just want something original that is not currently in any other park. Tron is just way over due. And you could even create a whole new story for the attaraction based on the tron universe.

Perhaps anything is better than the noisy speedway in that section of the park...as for Tron...since I have not seen it in the longest time...perhaps I should (maybe then I will be right there with you hoping for a Tron attraction)...

Didn't WDI once have a TRON attraction on the boards, but since the movie BOMBED, they scrapped the idea..

Is WDI so out of ideas that they would need to dig back into bad movies?

What is next, "Watcher in the Woods...the adventure" Or how about "Search for the BLACK HOLE"

:D :D

I think they could probably do a monsters inc ride with similar technology as Spiderman uses at IOA....going from scene to scene looking for something. Each scene is a different door and leads to a completly different setting. I don't relly think fantasy land is the greatest area for such a thing....prolly a good MGM attraction.

Well, Epcot and DAK are out of the questions, unless DAK was to build the mythical creatures area.

It does not really follow the image of any of the MK lands, Fantasyland would be the closest match, but I think that land is better gears towards the Disney Princesses and whatnot....If they did build another e-ticket in Fantasyland, they would also need to build a stroller parking garage:D

MGM doesn't really follow any major formula. It was originally a movie studio themed park, but then they added R&RC, which has nothing to do with the movies (but is a great ride) So, this being said, any attraction you put into MGM is not going to take away from what the park already is...Unless they were to add something like "Encyclopedia Britannica...The Ride" or "The Carousel of George Foreman Grills"....that might be pushing it.

they cannot build anything heavy, on 20,000 leagues area, the reason they drained lake was leakes in wardrobe area, and that is why new costuming building, next to property control and cast parking, so this can be drained and a fix figured. we are disney world largest surplus vendor. we have all the exess seaweed from this ride see us on ebay seller id is joesauctionsales.

I'm sure if the lagoon could hold MILLIONS of gallons of water *.. ALOT OF WEIGHT *, then it can hold a structure.

All I have been able to find is that ABC bought the rights to air the HP movies on ABC, ABC Family, and the Dinsey Channel.

Well I always thought of MGM as the entertainment park. That would include movies, TV, and music. So RNRC would fit that theme perfectly as being about music. Sure movies are the dominant focus of the park, but there have always been attractions based on TV shows even from the begining (Superstar Television).

Full rights for TV showings and limited for Theme Park use... never said Disney owned Potter...
