Decent source confirms price hike for WDW coming this Sunday.. We were advised to get any prospective clients booked ahead of Sunday if possible.

Doesn't sound like they're going to dynamic pricing in OTown... Yet.

I bought my tix from UT but i want to add 1 more day when i arrive in a few months. Will i be able to do that if the tickets change? Is it going to still be like 10$ to add 1 more day?
I bought a 7 day myw ticket

"Sorry, ma'am. Your $200 ticket says you are simply entitled to ONE admission with the purchase of 2 ADDITIOINAL admissions and is only good for every other odd dated Thursday in April between the hours of 11AM and 1PM, weather permitting, no refunds or exchanges. Please leave the premises immediately and have a Magical Day!"

Curious to see any impact on annual passes.

Already canceled mine. Sick of all this.

You should be able to add a day to your ticket, however not knowing what exactly the changes will be it's hard to say what the impact is. Most likely you will be able to pay the price difference between gate for what you have and what you want as long as you have used your ticket at least once. But if they do something crazy with tiering or the like all bets are off.

What about upgrading to AP?

Would they try the tier first in DL to see how Americans deal with it and as a Company it usually not smart to try something new at your biggest store(in this case park) example MM+.

I fail to see how supply and demand will stay the same under this new pricing structure with the exception of holidays.

Let's say 10 different families want to take a 7 day trip to WDW, and they have a 3 week window where they can go to WDW. As they are figuring out which dates they want to go, they realize one week is cheaper than the other 2 because historically that week has been less crowded. Wont all 10 families pick the most inexpensive dates not only to save money, but with the expectation the park will be less crowded?

Yep, once it's prepurchased, prices are locked in.

That's my question, since we are going to DL later this year during what is likely a "premium" time. We already have tickets purchased, so I am assuming we can use them without any change in price (I hope).

So if you book a package, the ticket price is locked in at current prices? If another discount comes out and you re-book at the new rate, would the ticket price adjust?

The way I understand it, altering an existing booking to reflect a newer promotion will forfeit your locked in pricing and the new discount will figure the new ticket cost in.

Thanks - I have friends considering an August trip and there are currently no discounts - but it can't hurt to book the package at the lower ticket rate now in case a discount doesn't materialize.

Check the terms and conditions to see when the ticket is good until. I bought one last year for a trip I ended up not taking, but the ticket still says "valid until December 31, 2016". I assume the same would be true for your tickets.

It never hurts to book early with the intent to edit and include promotions down the line.. This way, they can lock in their choice of dates, resort, and room type. I'm anxious to see if these cuts have any impact on the expected promotions going through the rest of the year...

1) Build no new attractions. Not one e-ticket attraction in 10 + years.

2) Remove attractions from Hollywood Studios - under the banner they are going to make new attractions, only it will take 5 years or so to finish because construction companies are all fully booked up, and only Ronald and Arthur are left to do it all by themselves.

3) Cut costs, by getting rid of cast members.

4) Raise prices.
