Can anyone confirm or deny?

Thanks for the heads up.You've got mail!
The other thread did not offer any confirmation beyond the OP and a friend vouching for the OP. No one seems to know. There was some confirmation in the other thread.
Honestly, while it's sad that someone looses their job, it's a buisness, and it's bound to happen when you allow your product to get stale.

It is sad when someone looses their job but like you said it is a business and sometimes the firing is deserved. There was some confirmation in the other thread.

I am nowhere near as well versed in Disney management personnel as some of the other members here but quite a few of the decisions made by Holmes really left me scratching my head.
:lol:No there has been no official confirmation and nobody I know has been able to confirm it. So at this point for me it's total rumor. I dont know who John Corigliano is, but is it possible he is just relaying the information that was posted here yesterday (which was later removed, as speculation of someone losing their job and the follow up posts seemed out of line to me)?

In my office the first casualty of the housing downturn happened about 4 weeks before Christmas in 2005. We were all kind of bummed about it but the simple fact was that had this guy been able to perform his job duties correctly and had the skills he claimed to have had he would have still been working for us today. The truth of the matter was that he was simply not good at his job. In a booming economy he could skate by but when it became crunch time he could not cut it.

I have no doubt of that. It is very easy to manage Disney form the safety of a laptop 2000 mile away. It is a considerably different thing to do the job for real. There are however a select few people whose opinions I trust and those select few did not care for the job he has done.I think some members here like to THINK they are well versed in management personel, but in reality, they just jump on the bandwagon. ie. Phil is evil, Jim is a saint. Either, or neither may be true, but a lot of the people posting on the subject really have no idea what they are talking about. I would bet most of the people on the bandwagon couldnt even identify Phil if they were standing right next to him in the park.
There's some weird vibes surrounding this. I've asked a lot of people if this is true and had even more people ask me about it, but when I really dig for information the most I can get is "well thats the word thats been going around."
Anyone wanna run into the utilidors and check if his picture is still hanging down there? Its the only way to settle this rumor if you ask me...
Seeing your location...I think you would be the best person to do that.
3 miles vs 230 miles is a bit easier.
There is a barber shop on Main Street.....Get a move on!:lol:My hair is a little bit too long to go sneaking around backstage at Disney..... :lookaroun
We have some posters here that work in MK, surely they will be informed soon if it turns out to be true. I'll just sit over here and wait quietly...
My contacts at the MK at this point say it's not true.
